Terms of Service

The service

Your House in 3D (operated by Idea Engine LLC) creates a simplified 3D model of a home's exterior from photos you supply, delivered as a downloadable STL file ($750) or as that STL file plus a 3D-printed model shipped within the United States ($950). Every model is built to order and delivered within 7 business days. By joining the waitlist or placing an order you agree to these terms.

Your photos and your rights

• You must own the photos you upload or have permission to use them, and you must have the right to have the pictured home modelled (for example it is your home, your client's home with their consent, or a listing you represent).
• You keep all rights to your photos. You grant us a licence to process them only to build, preview, print and support your order.
• You own the finished model for personal, non-commercial use. Reselling the model or mass-producing prints from it requires our written permission.

Accuracy

Models are built from photographs, so they are an artistic approximation— overall shape, roofline, doors and windows — not a survey-grade replica. Details that are not visible in your photos cannot be modelled. If your photos are not sufficient we will ask for more before production starts.

Payment, delivery and refunds

• Payment is processed by Stripe at checkout. Prices are in US dollars and include US shipping for printed miniatures.
• Delivery is within 7 business days of your order: the STL file by email, and for the printed tier the model ships with a tracking number.
• Refunds: you may cancel for a full refund if you ask within 24 hours of payment — email us with your order number. After 24 hours every order is custom work in production and all sales are final, except as below.
• If we cannot build a usable model from your photos we will tell you and refund you in full.
• If a printed model arrives damaged, email us a photo within 14 days and we will reprint or refund it.

Acceptable use

Do not upload photos of people, interiors, or property you have no right to model; do not attempt to abuse, overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may refuse or cancel orders that violate these terms, with a refund of any amount paid.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes and contact
